The Meaning Behind Our Name
The Origin of "CEIBO"
CEIBO stands for Coordinated Expertise in Integral Braincare for Older Adults — a name that reflects our holistic, person-centred approach.
The ceibo is a tree native to South America and the national flower of Argentina, known for its beauty, resilience, and the strength of its deep roots — often unseen but essential.
Like the ceibo, the older adults we serve carry roots that run deep: their stories, wisdom, and contributions remain profoundly important. CEIBO was born from the belief that every person deserves to be valued, cared for, and remembered with dignity.
Our Team
At CEIBO, our multidisciplinary clinical team is led by our lead doctor, who has over 10 years of international experience in Old Age Psychiatry. For the last 8 years she has worked as a senior specialty doctor in a memory service in a London NHS Trust. She has experience as an honorary lecturer and teaching fellow at King's College London in an MSc in Neuroscience, and brings vast experience across multiple fields within psychiatry, including hospital, care homes and the community.
At CEIBO, we work alongside other professionals, including those in Clinical Neuropsychology, Occupational Therapy and Dementia Care. Our multidisciplinary team addresses every dimension of cognitive, emotional and functional health, offering personalised care plans adapted to each person and their family. We follow international diagnostic and treatment guidelines and continually develop our expertise to deliver the most up-to-date care to our clients.
